Front page news in the Waterbury Republican American newspaper!

That’s what the text from one of MTB Coaching clients said this morning at 6:57.  Front page news – a nice way to start my day.

I looked it up online in the Active Outdoors section and realized I had to go buy a paper because there was much more to read and see than just the front page news piece, including half of the first page of Section D and a couple large pictures of me working with kids and adults in skills clinics.

I was asked by Tim Jones (Active Outdoors columnist for the Rep Am) to provide a free “Intro to Mountain Biking” clinic followed by a newbie/beginner level trail ride on the afternoon of August 6th.

This clinic will correspond with their, and my, presence at Torrington’s “The Marketplace” which takes place on Franklin Street in Torrington later that evening.

If you’re in the area that night, stop by the Rep Am tent and say hello. I expect to be there from about 5-7 pm.
